Comedy buddy-cop movie. Eddie Murphy plays the wise-cracking, street-smarts police officer from Detroit who goes to Beverly Hills to investigate the murder of his best friend. Befriends two Beverly Hills officers, Rosewood and Taggart, who are clumsy, by the book and clueless about being a police officer in general. Lisa Eilbacher, as Axel Foley's (Murphy) old friend Jenny, is one sexy girl in the 80's. A few good jokes, done in predictable 80's fashion.
